Galeria Labirynt

Challenge

Galeria Labirynt is a contemporary art gallery in Lublin that needed a new online presence. It operates in three venues, each with its own opening hours and exhibition programme.

The website had to present all of this simply, with a clean, high-contrast aesthetic, and be accessible to every visitor.

What we did

We designed a website that meets the WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standard. We opted for minimalism, deep black and bright white, so the art always comes first. At the heart of the new layout is a vertical calendar with events for each day: it brings exhibitions from all three venues into a single overview, so visitors see at once what is open and where.

We also designed announcement pages and an admin panel where gallery staff categorise and search the gallery’s resources, which makes the website a small resource management system as well. The site was built by the team at Industi, an agency in Lublin, and we worked closely with them and with the gallery staff.

Result

The new website is live at labirynt.com. Its grid-based structure reflects the gallery’s spacious, curatorial character on every device.
